Guards were called to the scene, and I responded as quickly as I could. The demon in question was about four feet tall, and looked vaguely slug-like... <description of Nolitcyrahlnil follows>. This slug-like being proceeded to make its way upstairs, where I confronted it and asked it to identify itself. It did, and gave the name Nolitcyra. It proceeded to state that "It hurt", though the statement was ambiguous, in that it did not make it clear if it was the one hurting or if it was hurting others. I believe that it was describing itself as hurt, from later context. After being asked to elaborate, it stated that it "Hated", and "Hated Everything", which
prompted me to treat it as a hostile demon. I would have attempted to smite it, but being alone and wanting to avoid a situation that was potentially quite dangerous both for the patrons of the inn and myself (it was, at this time, not directly threatening any of the patrons, and it was relatively contained in a hallway upstairs), I decided that it would be best to try to contain it while I waited for backup. I instead opted to offer it a chance to leave. After being asked to leave the city, it claimed that it was "stuck" (though I could see no physical obstructions). I then ordered it to stop playing games and leave the city, which I suppose it attempted to do--by way of one of the upstairs windows. While it was searching for an unlocked door, I watched it to make sure it neither endangered civilians nor escaped the watch of the guard, and sent another to call for backup. <font

I ordered it to halt, which prompted it to attack me with an oily sheet. I ducked behind cover as Lt Arnise arrived at the room. He then proceeded to question the demon further, receiving the same kind of responses as I had gotten. I was ordered around to the side of the building, as it was attempting to slip out of the window. By the time I arrived on that side of the building, it had somehow managed to escape. This demon does not seem like an overly dangerous sort, though we should certainly be on the lookout for it, as it is probably still within the city.

--Armswoman Kypree

__________________________________________________
Do You Yahoo!?
Tired of spam?
