MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

Unto Captain Von Stahl,

I write this under confused and suspicious circumstance, and am hoping your wise counsel can clearify a slight issue about the regretable death of Resque.

Suspicious activity and circumstances revolving around Ynros have lead me to a very thorough investigation into the death of Resque including an expensive, taxing, and all around difficult divination to see the actual events of the murder.

Let me first begin by stating that I made an original arrest on Ynros involving assault which he was acquitted of by the honorable Magistrate Wolfram, he was arrested not two days later by Lieutenant Trayin on charges of murder/assassination and again acquitted of his charges by the honorable Magistrate Wolfram.

Things have not sat well with me and as I stated in my opening statement I began a very thorough investigation. I found the site of the engagement, the carriage had still not been removed or cleaned up and has since been marked outside the city walls and cleaning crews are working to remove the wreckage. Before they began I conducted the lengthy ritual of divination and watched the events of the battle.

Ynros is once again in custody, in the relived experience Ynros fired a very very large crossbow made for slaying large beasts at the carriage which was directly responsible for disabling it and making the killing of Resque much easier. Despite the fact that Ynros claimed to have warned Magistrate Wolfram of the impending danger that does not forgive his actions. The way Ynros conducted himself in the battle was as an accomplice to assassination.

I must bring up this rather touchy subject because it has raised very serious concerns in my own heart and mind. I believe in my heart that the Honorable Wolfram acted with the best of intentions, but without proper evidence perhaps the right questions were avoided so not to simply paint someone with blame. However twice Ynros been set free now, and if Ynros is telling the truth a litteral warning and threat went unnoticed by the very same Magistrate, however it may very well be poor communication between the Royal Guard and the Magistrate. As I stated earlier it could be that there was proper evidence which may have resulted in lack of communication.

I have the ut-most respect for those within my chain of command, beneathe me and above, and hold Wolfram among the highest of esteemed and established individuals and in no means do annotate this into my report as a means to 'sling mud' as it were. However there is a definite problem and it needs to be found and corrected.
Our country, not ourselves.
