XI. 477.

There has been a demon "attack" on the Black Dragon Inn. Fortunately, it was just an imp! It first appeared at night, after a drow (best described as <describe Jharvyl`drin>) began kicking furniture around the inn. I had noticed it at the time, but it was not yet attempting to harm anyone or escape, so I felt that it was best to address the issue of the angry, upset, and violent drow before driving the imp away. Said drow initially dealt with it before I could, by magical banishment. This did not last long, as the imp was back in a few hours. I had previously informed the imp that it needed to leave Drache, as demons are to be driven off on sight. This second time, I approached the imp before it could engage any other patrons, and kindly asked it to leave once again.
It then asked me where it could find "the slave market", and I told it that slaves were illegal, and so was it, asking a third time for the demon to leave for its home place peacefully. It refused, insinuated that I was a slave, and I decided that it was not going to be cooperative, and engaged it with my sword. After a short but brutal duel that ended in a temporary reprieve, I once more asked it to leave, which it finally decided to do--cursing all the way, and insisting that I had "made a terrible enemy".

This imp was not the typically dull kind, and was apparently a magic user of some kind, and I suspect that it will come back at some point in the future.

Armswoman Kypree.
