[Royal Guard] Assault in the Inn. (Malik Dreadmourne.)

On or about Tordas, Rain's Hand 15 in the year 474, I,
Arms-Corporal Art Harlow, was engaged in mild
exercise, and thought to stroll around the Blkdragon
district.

Shortly I heard cry from the BlkDragon Inn, and moved
to investigate. I encountered Armsman Kirin Arnise,
also in the area, also making response near the door.
A dark-robed figure was making his exit, and Armsman
Arnise gave chase rapidly. I looked for a clean shot
with my bow, and found nothing. Considering my state
of health, I chose to investigate the Inn for
witnesses.

There were a number. It seems that the Barman on duty,
by the name of Turner, was assaulted. From what the
barpatrons who witnessed the assault explained, and
Turner's own testimony, he was assaulted by an unknown
person, whom exhibited clear signs of magical
capacity. The assaulter seems to have been able to
teleport utilizing shadows, something relatively
frequently encountered. Further, one patron attests to
the assaulter having had a grevious, non-bleeding,
headwound, leading one to the belief that he may well
have been an undead creature of some description.

of the subject to me, but I will entrust him to report
the full details thereof.
