[Royal Guard] Report

Written in Lachlan Brewer's flowy elfish-type handwriting, was a report.  
And it follows:

On this night, I happened into the inn and found a scuffle on the steps and 
shouts of demon being uttered.  I went over and cast a spell that allowed 
vines to jut out of the floor and hold those in the area.  Three were held.

I continued up the stairs and went to where one (desc of Ros follows) said 
the demon had fled to.  I didn't find a demon, and this man left before I 
could question him.

Coming back out, I saw that Maxwell, a newer member of our ranks, had 
interfered with my spell and cut loose those that were held before I could 
question them.  The creature fled, and I was able to get one Jazmen Dahl to 
give me a statement.

She said she was trying to protect a child from the large man (Ros) and that 
he was saying said child was a demon.  I used a spell that would discern if 
she was lying or not and proceeded to question her.  She did not think she 
child was a demon, but she did say the child had wings.  She said she didn't 
know that demons were not wanted, which I found ludicrous, myself.  The 
stone never lit up in stating she was lying, so she did tell the truth.  I 
was unable to question the others due to Maxwell setting them free of the 
binding spell, so I only had Jazmen Dahl's word.  I did, however, have a 
word with Maxwell on the interference with another's spells, and I don't 
think he'll be doing it again.  The spell wasn't aimed to harm, only to 
hold.

All in all, no demons, no arrests, just apparently a misunderstanding.
