[Royal Guard] A New Report Filed by Recruit Bithsbane

The report is filed in the elegant, smooth handwriting of an elvish hand:

"An unindentified inhuman Unnatural entity and five accomplice inhuman 
creatures attempted to break into a magic shop in the Red Lantern District.  
Recruits Bithsbane and Gathai investigated after a suspicious-sounding 
scream drew them to the location.  The source of the scream was never 
ascertained, but the subhumans immediately attacked under the direct 
supervision of the Unnatural.  It appeared to be attempting to steal several 
items of magical design including a few weapons, books, and artifacts.  
These items were successfully recovered.  The accomplice creatures were 
subsequently destroyed in the ensuing conflict, four by Recruit Gathai 
alone.  Recruit Bithsbane destroyed the last and injured their Unnatural 
leader before it was forced to flee the scene.  Samples of the creatures 
were taken from the corpses.  These have been submitted for analysis.  The 
leader Unnatural who professed to have no name managed to escape, but was 
wounded perhaps fatally.  A sample of its blood is also enclosed.  
Respectfully request an analysis of the creature's nature or origin.  
Recruit Gathai was injured in the conflict by a blow to the head.  She was 
promptly attended to and seems to be recovering well.
