'pon Morndas, Sun's Dawn 23 in the year 474, around
half the hour of two of the clock before dawn, I, one
Armsman Art Harlow, did encounter a shifty fellow.
(Prisoner in Cell 5)
Said fellow did approach me with a bollocks story of
Magistrate Lyons and fiends plotting against a
citizen, with witness to said crime locked up in the
clinky with impending sentencing on his head. With
intent of ensuring I was hearing him correctly I
allowed him to speak on, and he attempted to suggest
that I should assist his person in assisting unnamed
plotted against citizen. Said fellow produced a bag of
unknown contents, which was removed by myself to room
21 at the BlkDragon Inn, with said personage. I
advised him as to his arrest, whenceforth he resisted
arrest, and he was summarily secured for transport
back to the guardhouse.
Magistrate Lyons was encountered on my way out of the
Inn with said fellow, and agreed to observe the
evidence and removal therof which I sent
(Randomguards) to.
After leaving said fellow with the cellguard on duty,
I removed myself from service one hour past my shift's
end and returned home.
Armsman A. Harlow

What? A glorious arrest in the best traditions of the
Guard?
---
(Bribe stuff here.)
<Art`Harlow> Yadda yadda yadda, upstairs, private
room. This was the smallest, one without windows to be
watched through, unpleasant and dreary. Art held open
the door for Jaeth, after placing the bag inside.
<Jaeth`Cane> <And so he enters. It did pass through
his mind the guard may attempt to double-cross him.
Arrest him and take the money, at the same time. Such
a guard would be foolish, no doubt, as he would be
wasting his chance for even greater rewards at the
hands of the Master. So, he did enter, somewhat
re-assured by the guards need of rationalism.>
<Art`Harlow> Rationalism? Well. Rationalism would
explain the way Art drew and swung his truncheon in
one, smooth movement. Overarm at the back of his head,
while Jaeth had his back to Art, stepping through the
door while he 'held' it for the fellow. Double cross?
You should get Art's track record!
<Jaeth`Cane> <His reccords were part of the reason he
was amongst the most likely candidates for bribery.
However, it appears that he was indeed, too unreliable
for even that. As most people tend to be. The club
hits straight, and the clear sound of bones breaking
resounds loudly. A fleshy, nasty sound. Then, the
little pale man colapses in his feet. Murder, vorfon
Hartlow?>
---
Further, we discover later that Jaeth is dead in his
cell. Booked in as dead? Well, presumed unconscious,
perhaps...

Jaeth = Pete performing evils of great power!
Art = Me, performing great arrests of integrity! (To
the back of the head!)
