So it's been a wee while since I posted anything and well.. I gotta say 
Kirin no like paper work.. anywho I figured I might as well come out of 
hybernation and write up some of the stuff Kirins been doing.. so here 
it goes with numero uno.. the most recent.

Today it was brought to my attention by one Monica (insert last name I 
dun remember here.. she's preggy) that a slaver had been dwelling within 
the sanctified walls of the city of Drache. After a very brief 
confrontation the coward made quick his attempt at escape, but denied 
was he by the aid of an outsider by the name of Toliver. Agreeing to be 
interviewed at your convenience Toliver stands by (signature of Toliver 
here) to tell the truth under the fair rule and law of Drache by order 
of the crown. The individual in question goes by Jim Coulter, he was 
terrified and through the use of divinations he was put at ease so 
information could be extracted from him without harm to his person. The 
information gathered is that he owns a silver mine not far from the 
city, recommend writs to the mine be confescated for the benafit of the 
city after dealing with the criminal in question. He owned an orc, three 
drow, and four humans as slave labor to work the mines. Monica acquired 
the slaves and has them in safety. I have no recommendation on the 
slaves other than they will only perish being exposed to society in 
their state, they need nourishment and education. He became rather 
uncooprative after the spell duration of the calm person had worn off.. 
claiming he knew nothing.. But the information had already been gathered 
from both Monica and Toliver. Mr. Coulter only confirmed what they had 
to say before becoming mute.
I leave judgement to the crown and the divine wrath that awaits him, the 
scales of justice tilt ill against his favor and retribution is nigh for

Again heres another of the crazy fricken adventures of poor idiot Kirin.

I write this report as a pre-emptive attempt at capturing Brook, also 
known as Antonio. A vampire and a local who though means well is in 
violation of the law and repeatedly badgers myself or other guardsmen, 
and even the magistrates of the city. She has elluded me thrice now by 
simply vanishing or somehow ignoring me completley. Be warned for she 
appears to be immune to even the might of the blessed day star. (In 
other words she cheating.) I call upon the loyal guard of the city, and 
request a hunt for this creature Brook. She has repeatedly abused the 
mercy I have graced her with, more than once has she left the city as an 
exile... only to return the next night. The time for mercy is past as 
she desires no redemption, rather she has embraced the taint that 
consumes her and now she must be purged. More than one guard.. four by 
my counting claim to have engaged her only to be ignored or somehow she 
vanishes into thin air (cheeeaaaatin!). It is with this report and 
letter I request advice from higher authority. What is the will of the 
magistratum or commanders of the guard? If no response is given I shall 
do as the law dictates and attempt with greater ferver to turn her to 
dust and be rid of her.

okidoki.. just as an ooc note.. she's a cheat.. and has been getting 
away with it.. the mun is nice enough which is why I think banning may 
be pushing it.. but definately we need to get rid of the char 
antonio/brook.. maybe a PM chat by the ops would change her mind about 
making cheatish chars.. and it's  not even the cheating, she doesn't 
want her char to die, which I understand which is why i've been 
relunctant to do it myself.. so for that I apologize. Anywho.. take it

Yeah yeah he got robbed.. bite it. (this is kinda SLish.. but hey
anyones welcome.. and it'd be a guard thing to do to report his shat
being stolen.

I write this to report the loss of.. my equipment. It has been stolen
and the theft is confirmed from dealing with the thief directly, Foede
(one of the mighty Scarbie's chars). I have been given the name of the
one responsible for putting this Foede up to the job. She goes by the
name of Eleanor and it is my request that I be granted temporary
equipment until this matter can be resolved. Eleanor, the individual in
question and the one accused with the illegal acquisition of my property
lives in the city, she has an estate located... (has a map drawn to show
where it is since he's been shown). I will go tomorrow and confront this
Eleanor if I am able, but if things go sour.. or more realistically if
she's not there I may need assistance. The location is given here so in
case I die my remains can be found and a guilty party can hopefully be
punished.
With blessings of the blind just lord and always the servant of the Crown.

The Guard ML doesn't allow posts from non-member addresses to go through 
to the list. If you've changed your email address from the one you gave 
me when I first subscribed you, anything you send to the list is going 
to get deferred. Let me know if anyone out there has a new address that 
needs to be added.


There were several posts that were stuck in limbo and never made it to 
the list because our webhost made some changes to our list moderation 
interfaces, rendering them unusable until they fixed the mistake they 
made. For some reason, all of the pending requests have vanished into 
thin air, so several of Lay Trayin's reports in particular seem to have 
been lost. If I can find the moderator notifications in my inbox, I'll 
forward them to the list.

As i relaxed in the Black Dragon with a cup of coffee i observed one vampire
that is well known to the guard enter and go to the bar for a drink. This
vampire's name is Brook. As i was currently busy speaking with another i
kept watch on the vampire until such time as Jinnai Halfmoor and another
known hunter (desc given of Blayze) entered the establishment. They noted a
vampire was present but were unsure which one from the list. AS Jinnai tried
to recall who it might be the other hunter called me over and asked
pointedly where it was. I obliged by pointing out Brook as i had no wish to
tangle with her after the last time she tried to kill me.
 
Once it was ascertained who she was both hunters sprang into action and a
Vorfon (desc of Jolen given)who was unaware she had committed a crime tried
to aid her. Once the citizen was informed she had indeed committed a crime
and was wanted he backed off. The vampire then headed outside after a light
spell of my own had gone off inside to stop her shadows from being used.
Once outside the hunters rejoined the chase on Brook and i fired off another
pair of light spells which seemed only to blind Brook for a moment and to
stop her use of shadows. She yelled something about bodies in the trees and
that they were not from her doings.
 
After trying once again to shoot the vampire down and her successful dodges
of the bolts from crossbows a gentleman by the name of Sairion joined the
battle to help the vampire escape. I had seen the vampire speaking quietly
with the Vorfon in question inside the Inn and cannot be sure she did not
somehow tamper with his mind to have him help her as once he was cuffed
after trying to attack me he ceased his behavior and remained docile all the
way to the cells. The vampire did manage to escape the hunters and in the
fray i received a crossbow bolt to the ribs as well as the claw across my
foot. Two other persons came to the aid of the hunters and myself and only
one is known to me while the other is not. The one unknown to me is as
follows: (desc given of Dresqimar) and the other is one Tespin Agrippanilla
Anterricca-Tivraus.
 
At this time the prisoner named Sairion (desc given as well) resides in the
cells awaiting trial.

The woman Mickaela came to my home to speak with me of her part in the
stabbing of Marcus SteelWind. She admitted doing so but claimed that he had
originally sought to argue and fight with her. Lucien brought the man under
control but that her beliefs she was raised with brought her to stab him in
the back because none are left standing but the victor in her lands. I
allowed the Tespin to go with a warning that such was not the way in Drache
or Arangoth. As Marcus declined to press charges this is all the reprimand i
believe Tespin Mickaela to need at this time.

When I arrived at the Black Dragon I found Lucien standing outside with one
Marcus_SteelWind (desc given) in his arms. Apparently Marcus had started a
fight with one Mickaela then turned subordinate when Lucien stepped in and
no longer was fighting when a female name Mickaela (desc given) stabbed him
in the back with a comment about warriors dying in battle.  She then ran off
into the woods.
 
A gentleman named Erdrick Kane (desc given) arrived saying he had sensed a
need for himself ( a healer) and had used what he was able to as far as
healing Marcus. witnesses corroborated Marcus claim that he started the
combat but had desisted when he was stabbed. Witnesses include
Claudia_Tanner (desc given) and Lucien ChasingFire (desc given). 
 
I additionally did more healing on Marcus and the gentleman will live though
impaired. Marcus declines to press charges and I am still seeking Tespin
Mickaela to hear her side of events to decide if arrest is warranted or not.
This seems to be unusual for Tespin Mickaela so until i speak with her i
recommend caution and possible arrest if she shows further violent
tendencies.

Hey all. This is kind of a SL thing but it was a big event and ended up 
getting a lot of NPC's involved on sighting some things.. so I figured I'd 
post it for your review here. I think any are welcome who want to join in 
the fun however you'll have to ask the great Scar. So without further 
adoo-doo here is my poo-poo.

   Holy church, magistratum, and council of the guard.
I wriite thee to report a most dire situation that seems to be getting 
worse. I have not reported until now that my dwelling outside the city was 
robbed, for it was of little consequence and bothering the other guard with 
such a petty issue would not be looked well upon. In my attempts however to 
retrieve my equipment I have tracked the thief herself to this city. Who has 
sold an item that belonged to me that I was unaware of that was simply in my 
house. A simple painting that somehow acts as an interdimensional gateway. I 
know not how nor do I care but it has been used to summon forth demons and 
powerful evil entities that ravaged an apartment here in town. Through 
investigation a powerful demon of great evil and strength did appear before 
me. Shaking the building to its foundation. (giving a brief description to a 
Balor) A large battle ensued leading eventually to the city streets where 
only through true faith was the mighty beast vanquished and banished to the 
abyss whence it came. Mortally wounded I fell, rescued by a demon hunter who 
has been assisting me since, now I am in the guardhouse writing on a bunk, 
tending to my wounds which I had thought should surely end my life. The 
beast who's name I couldn't get from it hardly had a scratch on it, a 
blessed swing perhaps that it finally gave up and left.
    With that stated. I advice caution and be on the look out for Merin 
Bithsbane, demon hunter and associate to the new owner of this dimensional 
gateway. And one Eleanor, an instructor I believe at the university, there 
is evidence to support they have fled the city. I shall take up the quest to 
find them, though I wouldn't have the faintest where to begin. I do ask for 
a temporary leave of absence that I may go and acquire some equipment and 
hunt the theives.
    Always the loyal servant of the Royal Guard and the Just Hammer of His 
Mercy.

So here we go again on a round about trip through the mind of one Kirin 
Arnise. You are now entering a world of text and electrons. You are 
entering.. the email zone. *cues the music*

   Hail magistrates and commanders of the guard. I write this report with 
good will that blood shed was averted this night (Insert date here) in the 
dangerous walls of the infamous Black Dragon Inn. I have observed on 
multiple occasion an individual who claims he is a samurai of some unknown 
code of honor he calls.. Basheedo (bushido, I'm misspelling it on purpose.. 
bite.. me.. Wolfram =D ) This Kageshin as he calls himself (artistic 
depiction via someone at the guardhouse attatched) wears a simple set of 
robes and carries a large curved blade of excellent make, he is also 
unpredictable and dangerous to an extreme I had not guessed until tonight. 
Though he was being pestered by a mischevious woman he took to heart her 
antics and did assault her. First with foul magic, combining lightning and 
fire as one he was attempting to cause her fear and make her flee. However 
this was folly as we all know that the local citizenry are all too familiar 
with such things.. sad as it is to admit. After a few more hostile exchange 
of words I stepped in to resolve the matter peacefully as I have done in 
countless situations before to bring peace without violance. Charging the 
woman, Kageshin decided to turn his attention on me as I had hoped when I 
ordered him to cease his criminal activity. Finally he drew his weapon upon 
me. Be thou warned those who confront this dangerous man, the weapon he 
carries is highly enchanted and had flames licking its surface. Rather than 
come to blows I stayed my ground and kept my weapon sheathed. After some 
diplomacy (*possibly natural 20's on my diplomacy rolls*) the situation 
cooled, sheathing his weapon he agreed to be at ease. Regretably I was 
called away on duty before he left, I do pray he caused no more ill within 
the city this night.
  Dangerous though he is and content to listen to authority he HARDLY is... 
there is little cause for alarm. I placed no one under arrest and displayed 
the mercy of the crown that others would follow the example. I pray that no 
further situations occur with this individual.
  Loyal servant of His Mercy and and Will and Sergeant of the Royal Guard of 
fair Drache.

What a fricken night. Smiting.. shmoozing.. and smiting some more. Anyways 
this is probably my last post while in the states, just wanted to let you 
guys who actually take the time to read my rants.. Thank you.. I appreciate 
each of you and all of your RP.. Your good people for a bunch of text 
collections =D
without further poop.. or.. adoodoo or whatever.. this is the post..

  Tidings and well wishes to the magistrates and my fellow guardsmen of the 
fair city of Drache.
Yet again I sit at my desk writing a report that ironically enough involves 
a battle within the proximity of the Black Dragon district. While sitting 
inside the inn a random zombie stumbled inside somehow, and randomly 
assailed a citizen who managed to fend it off, running it through while I 
called upon the wrath of holy Tyr, that the soul of this individual may find 
peace in that its body is no longer ravaging the lands. Shrugging it off as 
an isolated event I made the mistake of growing complacent until a few hours 
later as I exited the Inn of the Black Dragon on my off day I was met with 
an unholy squad sized element of the undead. 8 to be exact. With a sense of 
urgency I returned inside and gave the warning, I know not why the zombies 
were shambling toward the Inn.. But Dulcina immediately placed the building 
under lock down and some of the patrons took up arms and fortified positions 
inside the building to repell the attackers should the battle that would 
ensue outside go sour. A few brave but foolish individuals took off outside, 
seeking glory in vain with short swords and daggers to fend off skeletal and 
rotted corpses that walk. I write this also as a warning that when the 
undead come.... have a mace.. a stick.. something blunt and heavy on hand.. 
NOT a blade.. less it be an axe that can cleave the bone, I write this as a 
cleric trained in the art of breaking the undead to dust!!!! This shall 
serve as a warning.. and I have forseen this to be a second coming of a 
possible mist war. You have been warned.
  Back to the battle at hand I met the four of the 8 undead in battle, 
opening with a blast of holy light and energy to blind and weaken the 
undead, it is my theory that they are divinely influenced, for they were 
truely powerful for simple zombies, my turning attempt did little more than 
phase them. An individual fighting with a longsword named Lazarus was hard 
pressed to stay them off. another, a female whore of the red lantarn 
district using a pan and alchemist fire managed to destroy the undead with 
myself, a ranger named Orion, and another guardsmen. Merin Bithsbane.
  Strangely guardsmen Bithsbane disappeared before the battle could come 
anywhere close to completion, Orion after the initial fight was taken, by a 
shadow into the alley ways.. After questioning Orion, it is my 
recommendation that Bithsbane be brought in for questioning, but not with 
intent for arrest, Orion is not a moral individual and there may be a 
logical explaination for this, we must not jump to conclusions but I request 
writs and warrents to speak with or apprehend if necessary one Merin 
Bithsbane.
   I close this report with no knowledge as to where the undead came from. 
There is something or someone raising them however, that much is appearant, 
a voice echoed from the forest beyond the roiling mists and the power of the 
undead does not breath arcane, these were complex undead during my 
examinations and investigations. But I shall leave it to the wiser 
magistratum and priests of the city and their judgement. With warning and 
prayer I send this report forward. May it be carried on the wings of angels
