Subject: [Royal Guard] Report of Guardsman Jinn Metaru

"This report has been penned to the best of my ability (given Guardsman 
Metaru's unique speech patterns) by <insert random NPC guard's name> for 
Guardsman Jinn Metaru.

At or about the fifth descending bell on Lorhest, the fifteenth of 
Sarkgibakat, a citizen of Drache arrived at the guardhouse requesting that a 
guard be dispatched to the Black Dragon Inn in the Black Dragon District.

Guardsman Metaru arrived on the scene to a brewing battle, where an as-yet 
unknown instigator was being fended off from the establishment.  Said 
instigator had to be physically subdued by the guardsman, and in the 
disturbance that followed was crushed into an unidentifiable paste 
underfoot.

Said disturbance was a wholesale attack of zombified citizens on the Black 
Dragon Inn, which Guardsman Metaru, with the aid of several patrons, was 
able to quell.  Currently, no more zombies involved in this disturbance are 
known to exist.

Guardsman Metaru's unique physiology allowed him to withstand the normal 
consequences of the attack, but he did sustain substantial damage to the 
armored plates of his upper body, which gave him cause to leave the scene 
immediately following these events.  At the conclusion of this report, he is 
going to seek out a smith to repair damage done to the plates."

The report is followed by the signature of the guard who wrote it, and a big 
smudge that can be assumed to be the smooth thumbprint of the metallic 
guard.
