The following reports are of two separate, unrelated incidents that took place on ... [12/23/06]:
The first incident occured early in the evening as I was taking a very short break in the Black Dragon Inn from my patrol. I overheard a young elven girl [description of Lily`Sylverleaf] discussing an undead animal she had with her and supposedly created herself. When I approached her and observed the animal, it had appeared to be stitched back together using different animals parts. The girl confirmed that it was both undead and she had created it, but claimed that the creation was an unintentioal byproduct of her own magics, which she alleges she is unable to fully control. I told her I would confer with a colleague on the matter before proceeding with any kind of action. She then vanished unexpectedly as Magistrate Nero ul-Azhur Myurod entered and stumbled upon the situation. After inquiring about it, I briefed him of what had happened. Of note is that the girl mentioned her mother was a member of the Royal Guard, but I was unable to get a name or discern who
that individual is.
The second incident took place after my patrolling was over and I was off-duty. Once again this occured at the Black Dragon Inn when a weapons dealer by the name of Dereck Blackthorn collapsed due to his injuries, which were, at the time, hidden under bandaging and chainmail. After he was treated by one of his associates by the name of Trailfoot and myself, it was discovered that the wound was caused by an arrowhead and exacerbated by a heavy handed removal. When asked who struck him with an arrow, he could only tell me it was a drow with white hair and gave no further description. When asked what the motive might have been for the attack, Dereck Blackthorn explained that he was an assassin before moving to Arangoth and that it may have been in revenge. Asked if he had worked as an assassin or commited murders, as related to his previous profession, within the kingdom of Arangoth, he answered, "No." I told him to inform members of the Royal Guard if he were able to
provide any more information that would lead to the apprehension of his assailant.
As an Arms-Recruit, this is my first formal report. I apologize for any errors or faults in reporting these two incidents or in dealing with either of the situations.
Signed,
-Idelle Sarault, Arms-Recruit
(OOC: Regarding Dereck's attacker; his mun said that it was a character that's actively played in BDI and not some NPC)
