MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
To the desk of Captain Stahl from Sgt Arnise
3rd Plt SGT Wharf Garrison
This report is an account of the events of the night previous within the
Black Dragon Inn, after a routine patrol I was on my way to the main
garrison when my attention was captured by a combination of shouting and the
presence of a mass of Drow outside said Inn. Upon closer inspection I found
it to be in fact a Drow raiding party (NPC's) lead by an arcane spell caster
who was attempting and much to my dismay and the efforts of myself and Lt.
Cirion managed to get away with a young child trying to escape them. Two
Drow who must live here, one I recognize as Venoch was staring down the
large raiding party along with another of his kinfolk. When we finally took
it upon ourselves to inform them of the law and that kidnapping wouldn't be
tolerated we were assaulted quite immediately, six archers opened fire in
two groups. Well coordinated volley's I may add as the group from behind
took us by surprise, I do apologize for the lateness of this letter as I was
struck by two arrows from behind and barely survived the night. The
engagement that followed was swift but the child and its captors have gotten
away, though I suspect they may be operating still inside the city, or
perhaps we have a path to the underdark beneathe the city itself. Following
this not a moment later a half draconic female of some sort was found by
myself stabbed twice with gaping wounds in her pregnant belly, a baby lost
to be sure and another half dragon by the name of Astral, 9 feet tall,
black, gold tusks or horns she was not specific as she was delerious is the
creature responsible, I have little love for the many winged, demonic,
angelic, or draconic creatures that take up residence around this particular
watering hole but we cannot simply kneel down to such violence. Once fully
recovered from my injuries I will continue my investigation and any
information leading to the apprehention of would be helpful.
Sincerely, Sgt Kirin Arnise.
