The report is enclosed with a vial of some foul smelling acidic substance.

"This night in the BlkDragon Inn, a strange sort of thing attacked the 
patrons. I noticed a bloody pool forming at the door, or so I thought, a 
civilian aided in my investigation, but then it seeped up from the floor 
boards in another spot, revealing it's self to be caustic, and apparently 
sentient.  The thing popped up from floorboards for several minutes, 
eventually climbing the walls to rain down from the rafters.  Other than a 
small burn, none of the patrons were harmed.  We managed to destroy the 
thing with fire and cold.  I do not know exactly what it was or where it 
came from.  It could be associated with the demons hunting for Sergeant 
Ryal, or it could be the byproduct of alchemical experimentation.  I have 
enclosed a sample of the thing and will question local alchemists.  Perhaps 
the Spellcaster division will have better luck than I however.  I have 
suffered burns from the causic slime on my arm and leg, but it will not 
deter me from my duty.
