[03/08/07]: After filing my report for the evening and retiring from my partol, I entered the Black Dragon Inn off-duty for a meal and leisure. A questionable looking creature (description of Hostility) entered the Inn sometime after the first late bell along with a female companion (description of Heaven_Frost). I was truely unable to verify it's nature, but accussations by others were thrown about that the creature was a demon. After causing trouble through verbal engagements with Tia Mestin, the creature was asked to leave the Inn. This is when I approached the situation and told him that he needed to indeed leave since Tia has every right to refuse him business and throw him out as a staff member of the Black Dragon Inn. The creature eventually complied, but not after threatening to return the next night - presumably to cause trouble again with Tia or to engage her physically, assuming no member of the Royal Guard would be present. Tia had made mention that the creature had made attempts to enter her mind, but in my presence while he was there, did not apparently wish to press charges. After his departure, I told her, should she ever wish to press them, to tell me or any other member of the Royal Guard. She indeed reversed her decision and wished to pursue legal action against this individual. He will be charged formally with one count of mind rape. I would like to include in this report that he is indeed suspected of being a demon by multiple sources, some of which can be considered reliable - so he should be approached with extreme caution. It's advised that anyone able to idependantly verify his nature do so before approaching him. [03/09/07]: After filing my report for the evening and retiring from my partol, I entered the Black Dragon Inn off-duty for a meal, leisure, and to make sure the suspected demon had not come back to assault Tia. As it turned out, the latter did not occur at all and it seemed as though the night had gone by without incident. However, in conversation with one of the other patrons (description of Wraelyspon), I learned that there had been an incident of assault earlier in the evening. Asked if any of those that were present for such an incident reported it to any member of the Royal Guard, the woman and another patron (description of Slar) both answered, "No." I proceeded to inquire about what happened and was explained the following: Apparently a man (description of Turai) with a "yo-yo" was in the Inn and mistook a girl (description of Pel) for being a demon or being possessed by a demon. The girl had evidentlyly feared for her physical saftey and, oddly enough, ran towards a tall undead creature (description of Axis`Kast) for protection. The undead moved forward towards the man with the "yo-yo" and proceeded to throw him to the floor. The reason for the engagement had been described only as, "The man got too close to the undead." The other witness [Slar] had described the man's injuries as a sever blow to the head as a result of having been thrown down. The woman [Wraelyspon] stated that she couldn't decern whether the injuries were real or just a byproduct of being distraught after thrown down to the floor. I have not come across any other witnesses or the three directly involved in order to continue questioning. Either way it is a case of a massive, undead being engaging in violent acts against patrons of the Inn and citizens of Arangoth. The undead will be charged with one count of assault. URL: From reverend83 at hotmail.com Mon Mar 12 02:42:43 2007 From: reverend83 at hotmail.com (Jason scherer) Date: Mon, 12 Mar 2007 07:42:43 +0000 Subject: [Royal Guard] Raised undead and Necromancer arrested In-Reply-To: <785391.9699.qm@web58813.mail.re1.yahoo.com> Message-ID: Unto Captain Von Stahl 11th day of the third day of the year. While on duty and on patrol a passer by told me about fiasco unfolding in the BlkDragon Inn. A would be necromancer and his undead minion was there, while causing no trouble they were indeed causing a stir. I thought it best to go and take a look. Upon arival I saw the undead creature (description of Axis) being threatened by many, I would not step out on behalf of the monster, but it was not the revanent that concerned me. A man named Ichillis (description follows) was engaged in a screaming match with a girl by the name of Kitsa (description follows). The girl told Ichillis to leave with the undead in tow as he had summoned it. Ichillis responded by pushing Kitsa violently, I had, while this was happening, moved and positioned myself by the two and asked them to stop and explain the situation. When Kitsa told me the undead belonged to Ichillis, they both confirm that the thing was raised within the last couple of days, I thusly informed Ichillis he was under arrest. Rather than comply he decided to strike my chest with an open handed blow, fortunately he is no martial artist, and as par the norm I wore fullplate. He would not be taken down without some level of dramatics and insane acrobatics however. Not wanting to face me in open combat he summoned his undead, calling it by name and asking for its weapon. It was here that I used the full power of the divine by unleasing a turn undead which ultimately incinerated the undead, but not before it would sacrifice itself to save its "master" by litterally hurling him out a window. Kitsa ran outside after the hurled Ichillis to find him out cold and with many fractured bones and lascerations from the glass and wood. Outside I finally made my arrest, bringing the limp form of Ichillis and Kitsa, she wished to speak on behalf of the necromancer. It is here that some things become fuzzy, in speaking with Kitsa and Ichillis I found out that the creation of the undead was a complete freak accident. Ichillis is a collector of sorts, he came upon a rare book of unspeakable evil power. He accidently used it to raise an undead, but that does not excuse him, it is true that fear gives men wings but he did not so much as attempt to bring it to the attention of the guard, university, or royal church, all three institutions could have helped him dismiss it without him coming to harm as he did. He acted as he did he claims out of fear of being arrested, but as already stated, he assaulted a crown official, resisted arrest, and with a mindless peon had it attempt an assault upon a crown offical which should count as a second count of assault against him. These three barring the act of necromancy are severe enough, however he is truely remorseful and acted (he claims) purely out of fear. I will be available upon the beckoning of any higher than myself to speak further on this matter, I otherwise leave it in the capable hands of the honorable magistrates. Our country not ourselves. [03/14/07]: After filing my report for the evening and retiring from my partol, I entered the Black Dragon Inn off-duty for a meal and leisure. It was when I had finished my meal and was on my way out that Alix Darkheart approached me. He told me he was, "In trouble." When asked why, he responded by saying he assaulted another man he identified as, "Athler" (description of Athler). This turned out to be the same individual that had earlier struck a boy in the head with a chair, causing serious injury, and stabbed Alix with a broken chair leg. Upon further explanation, it turned out that Athler had come across and assaulted Alix on two more occassions, both of which were undocumented until now. He said that the man had most recently come across him in a drunken state and approached him with his fists balled up and poised to strike him again. Alix stated that Athler posed an immediate threat to him physically, and that he struck the man pre-emptively in self defense. Apparently he had knocked the man unconscious, at which point several unidentified patrons kicked Athler while he was out. Given that Alix has been the victim of numerous repeat assaults by this same individual, I am inclined to believe what he did was out of self-defense and had good reason to defend himself pre-emptively. I did not arrest Alix or level charges against him, but told him ultimately the decision on the justification for his actions resided in the Magistrate who would preside over Athler, when and if caught. Witnesses to this man's aggressive demeanor towards Alix in recent days consists of Airique and several unidentified individuals whom I have no thorough descriptions of. Athler will now be charged with two additional counts of assault, bringing his total to four counts of assault. When I arrived, I discovered a familiar face, in that of `Corbin`, who has been flogged for theft before, once again back at his old tricks. Upon my entrance, he attempted to flee, and another patron, (description of Ikara_landron) attempted to stop him. He then proceeded to vanish in a sort of...cloud of what vaguely resembled distorted lightning. Another woman (description of Aatari`Shutt) then proceeded to attempt to attack the helpful woman. Someone pushed a stool into her way, and I attempted to trip her, thus halting her attack. After two warnings, she insulted my matron diety, and then procceded to spit a mouthful of blood on me, calling me a hedonist. I suspect that she may be a follower of Menxruk. However, when I attempted to arrest her, for assult upon a crown official, for who knows what manner of madness her blood might be tainted with, she was able to escape. --------------------------------- Don't get soaked.
