[Royal Guard] Unto Captain Lucius Von Stahl

Today, [10/28/2009], I was approached by a non-citizen informant regarding potential harassment by members of the Royal Guard.

The individual making the statements alleged that he questioned the Guardsman who had, to his account, assaulted him over a matter of investigation.  When I asked for a name and rank, he noted that the individual was referred to as, "Ser Varos," and was noted as carrying high ranking credentials (i.e. a badge of the Royal Guard).  He did not elaborate on why he felt this individual carried fraudulent credentials, but later stated that he did hear the name, "Dorn," used to reference him by a posse of what the informant described as an "elite guard commando unit."

Based on his statements, I noted a Sergeant Dorn ul-Shander Varros who, to my knowledge, was removed from service several
 years ago.  After meeting with the informant, I returned to the Guardhouse and could not find a "Dorn" or a "Varros" on our roster.  I cannot verify if he is with the Royal Guard outside of Drache, but if he's here to serve an extradition order, I could not find one filed with our offices.

In light of this lack of information on this particular individual, I'm advising each shift that an unknown member of the Royal Guard requesting Guard assistance be questioned by a Sergeant or Lieutenant on duty prior to involvement of our own personnel.
