[Royal Guard] An incident a few nights ago...

((The letter is written in the long, scrolling handwriting that has come to 
be familiarized as that of Zesstra Riknueth.))

Captain,

I must report to you of some incidents that happened the night we met in the 
Inn to discuss the happenings with Councilor Reizeau, as well as my 
investigation findings.

Shortly before you arrived, a man approached me, (description of Seraph 
here) and delivered into my hands a flyer with some most disturbing 
information upon it. No doubt you have seen it as well, but here is another 
copy for you. It dealt with the bodies found hanging int he forest reserve, 
those that were mutilated beyond recognition. (Enclosed is said flyer.) As 
it was dark, and I was there for the purpose of meeting you, I took the 
flyer and informed him that it would be looked into.

Not one full minute later, another man (desc. of Eizo-whatshisfookinname 
here), dragged before me none other than a corpse! It was bloodied and for 
the most part, shredded. Again, and I apologize, I did not have the time, 
nor the inclination to deal with this (mostly because the mun was in no mood 
for bullshit), and instructed the man to take the body and himself to the 
guardhouse for questioning. He refused, and simply dropped the body int he 
middle of the floor. I had Dulcina and a few of Rantan's kitchen hands 
dispose of the body, which should have made its way to the guardhouse for 
examination (it did). They cleaned the blood from the floor, and by this 
time, the man had disappeared.

We very obviously have a problem here, and it points clearly to the undead 
leeches plaguing this city at the worst of times. Let us put an end to this, 
and make them crawl back to the sewers they slithered out from!
