[Royal Guard] Incodent report from Maitayna Roche

Dear Captain Lucius von Stahl


I was doing my rounds in the town when I heard someone call out in pain and I ran down the streets towards the noise and ended up in the Red Lantern District.....When I came upon the scene of the crime, a woman had been attacked that worked in the brothel I was told by some locals.. and saw this man hanging over another man which I found out with some investigation was a vampire that was being fed on by (descript of Vaenik inserted here) I have never seen anything like it Captain the man was feeding off of the vampire that evidently harmed the young lady from the brothel.  Upon inspection the woman was dead from her injuries and loss of blood.  The man (Vaenik) evidently did not expect to see me and as soon as he did he fled in to the darkness of the streets....I ran after him but lost him quickly.  I returned to the body of the man which laid on the ground missing his heart, throat, and most of his chest.  

I am writing this to warn you and the other guard to keep an eye out for this man.  I do not know if he was the one that attacked the woman or not for I wasn't there to see it first hand....but he has something to do with all of this.  He is to be approached cautiously and I am stalking the streets trying to find this man once again......
